Women Who Rock Columbus: Sarah

The next woman highlighted is a talented singer/songwriter who has taken the local scene by storm in 2025. Earlier this fall she re-released her album Out Of Order, featuring the Chroma Cloud remix of her infectious dance song Liquid Depression. She’s played the likes of 934 Fest, Be A Legend, and is fresh off a performance at Highball Halloween. She is also making her first appearance on a Cleveland stage later this month!

Allow me to introduce you to Sarah!

Sarah, singer/songwriter

Sarah has a vibe that seriously reminds of me Miley Cyrus. She’s an energetic wrecking ball and her music makes you want to dance until you can’t. It’s pop in it’s highest form but she also covers some serious topics like co-dependency as well. Her sound is definitely a fresh breeze here in Columbus and it helps set her apart from the pack. She credits Lady Gaga as an inspiration in not only helping her shape that sound but with also making her feel confident in being able to express her queerness as Sarah is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community.

Oh and there’s one more thing that sets her apart, she’s visually impaired but you’d never guess that by attending one of her shows.

When it came time to do our interview, I knew we'd have to find a more accommodating way to get Sarah’s story out so you are about to experience the first ever audio edition of Women Who Rock Columbus!

Bonus Fact!

Last year Sarah came highly recommend by another local Columbus gal and I am honestly ashamed to tell you, I hadn't heard her yet. I went home that night and pulled up her Instagram and was completely blown away.

Since then, she has become one of my favorite “new” artist here in the bus and I can not tell you enough to go listen to her music and catch one of her shows that way you can say “hey I caught her a couple years before she opened for Lady Gaga!” 🤞

I want to send a big thanks to Sarah for coming out and doing our interview in the middle of a protest and homecoming photos that neither of us knew were all happening in the same area at the same time that day. We still made it work!
